online baseball rumors?
As i always do, i check a favorite web site i found for baseball rumors.the site is www.elisbaseballrumors.com they are reporting the Mets may be willing to part ways with Beltran would there be any intrest here? I personally would say "YES" because of the possible of a switch hitting CF and and have Reed Johnson on the bench as a backup to all the outfield positions in case of injury.They are also saying something about the Cubs looking to trade D. Lee to some west coast teams? what do you guys think about that? I heard he had a no trade clause in his contract.
*gasp* trading Lee? that would be akward in my point of view... I mean come on.. it's Lee.. sure he didnt play well in postseason (but neither did most of the team!) but I guess what ever happens, happens. Personally, I dont think he will be traded.

i personally hope you are right. The only thing is, the Cubs seen how good hofpauir did, they are thinking of moving him to 1 st base. You cant replace a gold glover with a rookie and expect him to do as good of a job as Lee. Alos, how many more errors will ramirez have then, D lee saves alot of errors at 1st.
